Our
Approach
Clear thinking leads to the right decisions
The right decisions lead to good habits,
Good habits lead to good character,
And good character leads to abundant life.
At Caney Christian, our learner-driven community puts children at the center of their learning, allowing them to create and maintain personal goals, relational covenants, and real world meaningful work. Every student is empowered to flourish in both mind and character as they come to discover their God-given purpose and place in the world.
Our Methods of Learning
Learner-Driven
Our students take ownership of their education and peer relationships by agreeing together on rules of conduct, budgeting their own time and working together to progress.
Project-Based
Real-world projects where young learners apply their problem solving and project management skills to discover and build new products, services and experiences.
eLearning
Using the technology tools available, we are able to provide the rigor needed for learning math, vocabulary, spelling and grammar at a student's own pace.
Socratic Guiding
Socratic Discussions about heroes, history and self governance hone critical thinking skills and the ability to powerfully think, write and speak.
Let the wise hear and increase in learning and the one who understands obtain guidance.
